He was one of the first people in Australia to take advantage of the digital evolution in wagering, and created an ‘internet first’ bookmaking business called TomWaterhouse.com.

This business quickly scaled to become a highly visible player in the market, which prompted a buyout by William Hill - a global wagering business. Tom went on to become CEO of William Hill Australia, a company with one million clients and $2B in turnover.

During his time building these digital businesses, Tom recognised the hurdles of building an outstanding software development team and the competitive advantages it can deliver.
